Shu-Wei has her own teaching practice, working with adults and young students of all ages on solo and chamber music lessons. Both online and in-person lessons are offered.

Shu-Wei holds a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA), MMus/BMus (Hons) and LRAMs Royal Academy of Music (piano, cello), MSc. in Psychology, NPQSL, as well as Permanent Teacher Liscence/Certificate,  PGCE.

Besides performing as a musician, Shu-Wei has been an advocate in music education and has been doing so for over twenty years, working with beginner students as well as advanced musicians.  Furthermore, she has worked as an advisor and tutor to UK and international students for studies in the UK, USA, Denmark, the Netherlands,  Germany and Taiwan.  She regularly gives masterclasses, workshops and judge competitions in both of her disciplines in UK, France, Germany, USA, Australia and the Far East.
